I have had a strong desire to help others since childhood. Because of this, it was no surprise that I was drawn to a career in the legal field. As a lifelong resident of Buffalo and Kenmore, I am particularly interested in contributing to the local community by serving this area.
I attended The University of Buffalo, where I received a bachelor's degree in economics with honors. In my free time, I was also a four-year starter on the men's rugby team. Following undergrad, I attended Syracuse University College of Law and earned my Juris Doctorate. At Syracuse I was vice president of the criminal law society, a quarter finalist in the Lionel O. Grossman Trial Advocacy Competition, a student attorney, and a volunteer at the Pro Bono Surrogates Court Clinic. Through these experiences, I developed a passion for representing clients and helping them navigate through complex legal systems.
Upon passing the bar, I began my legal career at Neighborhood Legal Services. At NLS I was a staff attorney in our housing unit. I had the privilege of representing hundreds of clients facing eviction and conditions issues such as a lack of heat, electricity, or water during the Covid-19 pandemic. My time at NLS helped me refine my drafting and courtroom skills while providing an invaluable service to clients.
In December of 2021 I began working for Pusatier, Abbott, Sugarman & Martin, LLP. I am excited to utilize the skills I have developed throughout my education and time at Neighborhood Legal Services to best represent our clients.
